ICF Tech at Ecobuild
The opportunity to build a development of nine Code Level 6 homes in Derby was amongst the high number of enquiries received by ICF Tech at the EcoBuild exhibition in London this month.
EcoBuild is the biggest event in the world dedicated to sustainable design, construction and the built environment. This year there were 800 exhibitors, 30,000 visitors and over 100 free conference and seminar sessions at the three-day event. Speakers included government ministers and the Mayor of London.
ICF Tech, which is part of The Litchfield Group of Companies, exhibited alongside L.B. Plastics’ Sheerframe windows and Manse Masterdor external door-sets. Together the three brands offered architects and builders a three-step solution to developing Zero Carbon Homes.
James Litchfield managing director of The Litchfield Group said: “Our whole house solution has already been well received by some of the country’s top house builders and registered social landlords looking to build more sustainable homes. At EcoBuild we received high levels of interest from architects, local authorities and house builders who are committed to delivering Zero Carbon Homes today.”

The Code Level 6 enquiry will be Derby’s first scheme and will potentially include the ICF Tech walling system, Sheerframe 0.8 windows and Masterdor 1.0 door sets to offer the highest performance from the wall fabric.
